Phuket is the crown jewel of Thailand and is the wealthiest province in Thailand. As the most prosperous province in Thailand and the tourism industry’s crown jewel, Phuket is granted greater environmental protection and financial support by Bangkok’s central government. The island of Phuket holds beautiful mountains, warm and green national parks, and green forests. The area is well-known for its natural beauty and its natural resources.

What makes Phuket stand firm is its natural beauty and the island’s economic growth. Phuket was one of the few locations in Asia unscathed by the late 1990s Asian financial crisis because of the island’s strong appeal and constant economic growth. As a result, the island business venture values rose even after the tsunami struck the Indian Ocean in 2004.

What To See In Phuket

The best way to see Phuket’s beauty is by visiting its renowned beaches. Patong Beach, Kata Beach, and Kamala Beach are the most popular ones. The water on these beaches is warm and clear, so it’s perfect for swimming or relaxing on the sand.

Presently, Laguna Phuket and Bang Tao District are Phuket’s two most popular communities. Both tropical beaches provide a soft white sandy beach with palm trees swaying softly in the breeze. You might find it very hard to believe but the prestigious area of Bang Tao Beach used to look very different. In the 17th century, the district ground was full of vast amounts of tin mines and full of metals, which later turned out to be an essential source of minerals for Phuket. Looking forward to the 1970s, the price of tin dramatically fell, and the Bang Tao mines were forced to shut down. The end was a devastated, useless landscape full of giant holes. At least temporarily, Phuket’s resourceful residents didn’t stand still and started hunting for another source of income. The now-flooded holes were the perfect location for Phuket’s naturistic vibes. The vast giant holes turn into Laguna Phuket and the soft, warm, and breezy beach of Bang Tao Beach.

Bang Tao District is divided into the north and the south. The beach’s northern end is calm and pristine. So find your corner of heaven here, spread your towel, and let the days pass peacefully. There is a wide variety of dining establishments, stores, and palm trees all along the shore. Further south is the tranquility of what is now Laguna Phuket the place to live in the your own villa in calm and quiet Phuket.
